Our History

The business was founded in July 2011 by Adam Smith. You've probably already guessed, that is where the A S in A S Doors comes from! It all began with a very simple set up, just Adam and his van. At that point, with already over 5 years’ knowledge and experience in the garage and entrance door industry, Adam had a passion for providing local people with quality products coupled with an expert fitting service. This has been the solid foundation that has led to the business growing in to what it is today. These values continue to be at the heart of how we work.

The Showroom

In 2016 we made the big leap into creating a brand new showroom in Melton Mowbray. We started with an empty shell and built the showroom up to what it is today, with support from our quality manufacturers such as Hörmann, Garador, SWS, AlluGuard and Select. We now have at least 12 garage doors and 5 entrance doors on display in addition to a wide variety of colour and finish samples. The showroom is extremely important to us as it has provided a space for our valued customers to come and meet us and physically see the quality products we can offer. Our showroom is located at Unit 1 The Lake, Off Leicester Road, Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, LE13 0DA. The entrance is opposite Aldi. Everyone is more than welcome to pop in for a chat with our friendly and approachable team to discuss their requirements.

So that takes us up to where we are today. Thousands of happy customers, four team members with a combined experience of over 20 years, industry recognition, two vans and a garage and entrance door showroom. We could not be prouder of what we have achieved with our family business and we hope to continue with the support from our amazing customers.
